The last 36 summers have witnessed a beautiful Rabindra Jayanti being celebrated at Rabindra Bhawan, Copernicus Marg New Delhi, where Tagore lovers from NCR have come and presented their offerings in an extremely well-managed event that has drawn the attention of many non-Bengali Tagore lovers too.
Boi Mela - Sahitya Utsav
Every year, we organize Dilli Boi Mela (Book Fair) in the Capital. The annual Boi Mela helps reinforce the fragile bond between the book industry and the reading public. During Boi Mela, various other activities are organised to promote and encourage book reading habits among the populace of Delhi.
Cine Utsab
Every year, many award-winning Bangla movies are screened in the Bangla Cine Utsab. The main aim is not only to help make expatriate Bengali population expose to the latest award-winning movies and actors but also to promote Bangla Language and disseminate Bengali literature, art & culture through cinema.
Bishwa Natya Dibas
For the past few years, World Theatre Day is being celebrated at Muktadhara to encourage Bengali Theatre and performing arts with around 25 Bengali Theatre groups from all over Delhi actively participating in the festival. Various eminent drama personalities from Calcutta also step in to encourage them.
Bhasha Shaheed Dibas
For the past few years, on 19th May, Bhasha Shaheed Dibas is being celebrated at Muktadhara to commemorate the 11 martys who laid their lives to save their lingual identity. We pay omage & gratitude to our Mother Language through cultural & literary programs on that day.
Baul Mela
Baul - fakir mela was organized by us in association with Bangla Natak dot com & the Sangeet Natak Akademy, Ministry of Culture, govt. of India.
AIBA - Meet
In 2015, with the initiative of Bengal Association, New Delhi Bengali organisations outside Bengal came together to form All India Bengalee Association with the objective of cultural and social exchanges between the Bengalis outside Bengal.
