And it has always identified its presence with the mainstream of national culture. Muktadhara Banga Sanskriti Bhawan envisages its identity to symbolize this spirit.
Muktadhara – Banga Sanskriti Bhawan is most entrally located Cultural Center on Bhai Veer Singh Marg, Gole Market. Two Minutes drive from Ramakrishna Mission and Patel Chowk Metro Stations (Opposite to India Oil Petrol Pump, at Bhai Veer Singh Marg)

Bengal Associatiion established in 1958 under the initiative of Dr.B.C.Roy the then Chief Minister of West Bengal has come a long way in estasblishing a tradition of mutual help and cooperation with the Govt. of West Bengal for projection of Bengali Language, Art & Culture in the Capital.

Bengal Association is a federative body of Bengali Cultural Association, Bengali School, Drama Organisation & Clubs.

Since its inception Bengal Association have been very effectibvely working for spreading & integration of educational, cultural, social and literary heritage of Bengal amongst the other linguistic population of Delhi & NCR.

Apart from running two schools in two resettlement colonies to impart primary education to the children of economically weaker section of the society, the Bengal Association is working with the nine Bengali Senior Secondary School and conductiong various competitions to enhance the skill of the students in sports, art, dranma, singing, oration, reciatation & creative writing.

The Bengal Association's major programmes are - BOI MELA,NATIONASL CHORUS COMPETITION OF PATRIOTIC SONGS, BANGA SANSKRITI UTSAV & BENGALI FILM FESTIVALS.

For the last 25 years, the Bengal Association has been very successfully organizing A MORNING HOMAGE TO KABI GURU RABINDRA NATH TAGORE, in which about 300 artists, including school students, presents song, poems, dance and skits.

The activities of Bengal Association, Delhi has undergone a radical change after the inauguration of " MUKTADHARA " Banga Sanskjriti Bhavan, at Bhai Vir Singh Marg, Gole Market, New Delhi built in association with Govt. of West Bengal.

It is now become a window of Bengal in capital projecting culture of Bengal in association with large number of School, Theatre Groups, Social & Cultural Organisation alongwith visiting cultural troupes from West Bengal and other parts of India.
